Drawing on their expertise, co-founders Arie Trouw and Markus Levin identified a need for a trustless, decentralized location oracle, and with that, the XYO token was launched in March 2018.\n\nIn February 2022, XYO expanded beyond its original location-based focus to aggregate and analyze a broader range of heuristic and digital data.
